Dr. Larry LaPalio is board-certified in Hospice and Palliative Care, Internal Medicine, and Geriatric Medicine.
Hospice is his passion, he really loves taking care of people at the end-of-life, one of the neglected areas of medicine. Most doctors don’t like hospice and end-of-life issues because they spend their life trying to cure people. Dr. DePalio’s whole life is spent helping people die peacefully at end of life and aging place.
Hospice comforts and treats symptoms, not trying to cure people, send them to surgery, or run a whole load of tests. Dr. DePalio is happy to be part of the team.
